Reading Instruction

“Reading for Success” is for students of all reading levels. Whether they are just learning their
letter sounds, decoding words, or analyzing a reading passage, our Reading for Success Teachers
can meet the needs of all students to give them the tools they need to succeed. Our goal is for
them to become fluent readers with comprehension and decoding skills to understand and
evaluate the reading material.

Our reading specialists are highly screened and trained to ensure the success of all students.
They all have many years of teaching a variety of reading strategies to students at various levels
of reading. To ensure the safety of our students, we require all teachers to perform a Live Scan
Fingerprint test to verify they have no criminal background with the FBI or Department of Justice.

We use the Accelerated Literacy Reading Program. All students are assessed and placed in
reading groups at their level, meeting twice a week for one hour each session .

We also offer Individual Reading Instruction for those students who would prefer a more
individual program with us.
